Helping Your Child with Grammar and Punctuation

It can be very difficult for parents to support their children with grammar because very few of us were taught grammar when we were at school. Indeed many people have gone through further and higher education without ever learning about the basics of English grammar.

The National Curriculum now makes the teaching of grammar statutory in primary schools and so our children are learning things that we never did!

Our Parents’ Workshop, demonstration lessons and the documents below have been designed to help parents with grammar – particularly the terminology used – so that they support their children with their learning.
